Gaza's Health Ministry says over 40000 Palestinians have been killed in the 10-month-old Israel-Hamas war. The number will increase. Shame on the unpunished murderers, shame on the silence of the world.

Confusing condemnation of the unacceptable policies of the Israeli state with anti-Semitism is the result of ignorance and inability to look at the real problem. The overlap of the two factors generates even more hatred and division. I strongly condemn Israel for the aggressions and continuous provocations it has carried out with impunity for 70 years against the Palestinians and at the same time I respect the Jewish religion. And I condemn Hamas for the violence perpetrated against peacemaking, but I respect the Islamic religion. And, at this moment, faced with the exceeding of every acceptable limit by any sentient being, all friends of the Jewish religion should be the first to underline this fundamental distinction.
